RE: Amway

Amway's name is strong, and their training is okay.
Unfortunately, their compensation is one of the worst of all MLM, which makes it difficult to keep people active once they finally sign-up.

After you convince them it isn't a pyramid scheme, which is (relatively) easy because of the brand name, they have to spend around $150 to $200 per month to meet their points.

Most people simply never get to the point where they have recruited enough people to give them a return on their investment, and they quit because they feel like it is just another monthly bill.

On top of that, in many cases you must sell 70% of the merchandise to people who are not involved in Amway as anything except customers.

So, if you cannot get past the fact that everyone thinks all MLM are illegal pyramid schemes, you might want to go with Amway just so that you can have the name behind you... But, if you can't get past that, you may actually want to consider forgetting about entering any MLM at all.

Amway has been around forever.  They have their own products and advertise extensively.  Anyone have any knowledge of them?
