RE: Do you take credit cards?

Planning will surely help you with knowing what payment method you are going to offer. If you are offering to your local area then I would recommend that you better accept cash. If you are offering in the global market then you can't escape in using payment processors or direct credit card payment.

I've never heard of flagship before. Thanks for the information, I'll be sure to look them up and get some more info. I know fees are a cost of doing business, I just didn't want to have to pay that cost just starting out.

Flagship Merchant Services will be your best bet. Their fee's are as low as anyone else's, but I hear their customer service is great. You can't escape the fee's, they're just the cost of doing business.

It very much depends on the size and scope of your business.  I, for one am very simplistic.  I have several small service businesses and cash is the method of payment that is preferable for me.

We are starting to think seriously about accepting credit cards.  Who can we use as a processor?  Are the fees pretty high?  Right now we don't accept them because we are just starting out and I don't want to lose any profit to fees.
