RE: Home Tutoring

I found another one called Home Tutoring Business.  Anyone have any experience with them?

I see a big need for this. Music and the arts are suffering really bad in the public schools right now, but people are still musically and artistically inclined.

Tutor.com is a good reputable company and the pay is reasonable. If you don't mind working with folks face to face, you can make more by just advertising locally that you do tutoring in certain subjects. Let the local schools know if you decide to tutor in school-related subjects. That way no one else gets a percentage of what you make.

I have been playing various instruments since I was a young child.  I have no degree, but I read music and have a good ear.  I have done this off and on for the past 20 years.  I charge on a sliding scale.

Looks like there are several companies offering to set you up in this type of business.

Any insight?
